The phrase doesn’t include the “make-ready” boat preparation or the team dedicated to your comfort. It hardly captures the walking proximity to the Cottonwood Sports Complex, a nearly-five-mile looped nature trail, and a ship store that will dress you for the water as quickly as it will feed you snacks.
Cottonwood Creek Marina’s Lake Lewisville slip rentals are a complete experience. Sometimes words can’t match the picture of your boat aligned neatly at dawn, pristine on a sparkling calm, awaiting the day.
All Cottonwood Creek Marina slip rentals are 12-month, non-refundable contracts. You’ll also find our pricing and options below for personal watercraft ports, trailer storage, dock boxes, and boat hoist rates. All pricing is effective from January 1, 2025.

Lake Lewisville slip rental rates at Cottonwood Creek Marina
All covered and open slips include access to our full-service on-site pump-out station and access to shoreline picnic facilities, private restrooms, and our ship store and fuel docks. Members have access to members-only events, and when you arrive at the fuel dock, a staff member will be waiting with a complimentary hand-rolled dock line, ready to help with what you need next.
Members who pay the slip rental’s full year in advance receive one month free. Monthly payments may be made through an automatic bank draft or credit card draft.
The “Make Ready” pre-launch service
Cottonwood Creek Marina customers can call ahead the day before and our team will uncover the boat, remove dust and cobwebs, and wipe down the exterior before launch. When the boat returns, our team will recover the boat and repeat the process.
The full “make-ready” service is available for $45 per trip, or receive half the service for $25.
Boat hoist rental rates
We are a certified HydroHoist dealer with units available onsite for rent or purchase. Our Lake Lewisville hoist rental inventory is not guaranteed in all sizes, and purchase prices are available upon request. The Cottonwood Creek Marina management team must approve any customer-owned hoist before installation.
Cottonwood Creek Marina staff members will provide training in the use of a HydroHoist boat lift.
Boat trailer storage
Little Elm visitors seeking boat trailer storage have access to our uncovered, trailer-only storage arena.
Personal Watercraft shore ports on Lake Lewisville
Shore ports are available to Cottonwood Creek Marina slip renters only. We offer uncovered options at Port Rental Row, or covered ports within individual boat slips.
Dock Box Rentals
Customized Lake Lewisville slip rental deck build-out options
Cottonwood Creek Marina members have the freedom and flexibility to design and add property modifications to new or existing decks. All property modifications must be approved, supervised, and completed by the Cottonwood Creek Marina team. Pricing is available upon request for railing, fencing, and non-standard decking.
Whether constructing a new deck or leasing an existing deck, the Lessee acknowledges that the purchase entitles the Lessee use of the deck for the life of their contract. If the Lessee does not renew their contract, the deck will remain the property of Cottonwood Creek Marina to be used as Cottonwood Creek Marina sees fit.
Slip Occupancy Requirements
Upon agreement to a Cottonwood Creek Marina contract, the tenant must submit to Cottonwood Creek Marina management:
- The signed lease agreement
- Copy of your Texas Parks and Wildlife boat registration card
- Copy of the Lease Holder/Boat Owner’s state-issued driver’s license or ID card
- Copy of the insurance “Declarations” page, that demonstrates current proof of $300,000 (or more) watercraft liability insurance, with “Cottonwood Creek Marina, Inc.” listed as an additional insured party.
The state of Texas requires anyone born on or after September 1, 1993, aspiring to drive a vessel over 15 horsepower or a windblown vessel of more than 14 feet, to have completed a boater education course. Uncertified boaters can complete an online boater education course on the Texas Parks and Wildlife “Internet Courses” page.
Tenants must carry proof of boater education at all times.
