The Blessing of the Vessels

Summer. Has. Arrived.

At some point in the history of maritime traditions–and there are many–someone thought it’d be great to have boats line up and parade under geysers shot out by fire boats for good luck. We at Cottonwood Creek Marina love this tradition.

Each year, usually in the first week of June, we invite all members to parade their boats and enjoy the camaraderie of a Lake Lewisville flotilla. We thank the Little Elm Fire Department and Little Elm Police Department for making this possible each year.

Bring the kids, check in at the “free popsicles” stand, and we’ll look forward to seeing you next year.

Absolutely the best marina on Lake Lewisville—hands down. Ryan and Hunter, who oversee operations, are incredibly helpful and always a pleasure to work with. The entire staff is consistently kind, professional, and welcoming to both me and my guests. The rates for wet slips and trailer storage are very reasonable, and I especially appreciate the ability to lease a HydroHoist and dock box as amenities. Couldn’t be happier with this marina.
